When I launched Respectfully a little over 3 years ago, it was far from what it has become today. I was taking all that I knew about design and the many influences I adored growing up and started my own brand. As time progressed, I shaped and alter the brand to where it is today. Respectfully was birthed in my hometown Brooklyn, New York and is a part of what is known as the Respectfully lifestyle. The respectfully lifestyle is sophisticated, classic, and respected. The latest iteration of the brand is focused on new fabrics, cuts, a cleaner logo, and colors.
Defining the Respectfully brand
Respectfully is a cleaner approach to street wear, redefining what it means to be a street wear brand by adding meaning to each item in the brand. I wanted to create a street wear brand that was wearable in different occasions. When designing, I think of versatility and providing options for every consumer of the brand. It is a t-shirt that can be worn to the bar for a drink with friends or to Sunday dinner with the family. The clean design approach is the premise to Respectfully clothing.
Revamping the logo took some time but we eventually came across a cleaner and simple approach to displaying who we are as a brand. The old logos were overworked and not simplistic enough for the brand’s clean approach. We wanted a logo easy identifiable but still worthy of being worn.

The “R” is the stamp of Respect. The cleaner secondary logo is strong, simple, and bold.

We took Respectfully from the standard black & white colors to more bight and flavorful colors. Our latest line of tees uses green, salmon, mint, navy, and tan.
Our company lacked on packaging so we took distributing our product in poly mailers to creating an experience with our packaging. The frosted zip lock R bag is a reusable and fun way to let consumers meet their product in the mail.
